Docker in a native Mac app, made for Colima

A tour of the app
What you see is the app drawn from its designs, with sample data that moves like the real thing.
Every container at a glance
Status, ports, CPU and memory for each container, kept current by Docker events. Filter, search, start, stop or restart, and open a published port in the browser.
And everything else you’d expect
Files
Browse a container’s folders, preview files and download them.
Environment
Variables from the image and the container, secrets masked.
Inspect
The full
docker inspectas a collapsible tree.Run
Image, name, ports, volumes, environment and restart policy.
Cleanup
See what takes up space and prune it; with Colima, the VM disk too.
Colima profiles
Create, edit and delete profiles with their CPU, memory and disk.
Images, volumes and networks
Pull images and create volumes and networks.
Notifications
A container that crashes or restart-loops, a Colima VM that stops, a disk almost full.
Works with your Docker engine
ColiUI finds the engine by itself: a DOCKER_HOST if you set one, otherwise the first engine that answers. It talks to the Docker Engine directly over its socket, with no Docker CLI.
- ColiUI
SwiftUI · window and menu bar - docker.sock
DOCKER_HOST or the first that answers - Docker Engine
your engine’s HTTP API
- ColimaMade for Colima
Everything, plus the VM controls, Profiles, the VM disk size in Cleanup and an alert when the VM stops.
- Docker Desktop
Everything that goes through Docker. Start and stop it in Docker Desktop.
- OrbStack
The same, with “Open OrbStack” in the sidebar.
- Rancher Desktop
The same, with “Open Rancher Desktop” in the sidebar.
- Custom socket
Any Docker Engine socket you point it at.
To pick one yourself: Settings › General › Docker engine.
Set up in a minute
You need macOS 26 or later on Apple silicon, and a Docker engine.
Signed and notarized by Apple. It checks for a new version once a day and installs it when you say so; your containers keep running.
- # Have a Docker engine: Colima, Docker Desktop, OrbStack or Rancher Desktop
- # Colima, for example$ brew install colima && colima start
- # Download the DMG, open it and drag ColiUI to Applications
- # Launch it: it finds your engine and lists your containers$ open -a ColiUI
